A ruined aristocrat lives off borrowed money to keep up his worldly image. His current project is to sell his friend’s luxury yacht, hoping to keep a nice commission. His first prospect is Perle, an ex-sweetheart now a mistreating millionaire’s mistress. He ends up winning the yacht and whisks Perle away...but unexpected poverty rears its ugly head.
